Circular economy isn’t just a theory, it’s a strategy for growth. That’s why I’m excited to welcome Meital Peleg Mizrachi to the Emerald Summit on September 19 during NYC Climate Week.
A Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale University‘s Economic Growth Center, Meital’s work bridges sustainable fashion, global supply chains, and public policy.
Her research examines the intersection of environmental sustainability, labor rights, and consumer behavior.
Meital’s breadth of projects span secondhand clothing trade, labor rights, and the cultural forces that shape what we buy.
She leads the research field at Moving the Needle, Yale’s hub for sustainable fashion, and serves on the Board of the International research network on Sustainable Fashion Consumption.
♻️ I created the Emerald Summit to fund sustainable and profitable tech for people, planet, and global communities.
♻️ Annually, our “Summit with Awards and Dinner” is where sustainable finance builds climate solutions together.
Meital joins our amazing line up of speakers on the Circular Economy panel.
We’ll explore:
– How circular models can safeguard resources and create quality jobs
– What policies enable sustainable consumption to thrive
– Why supply-chain innovation is climate resilience in action
